POLITICO | Darparian-Aparian Reunification Party (DARP) leader Roy Cooper has announced that DARP would not be running in the next [Darpartryo] state elections. He cited agreements with likeminded parties rendered the existence of DARP, which had championed the reintegration of the Kingdom of the Straits in the Falleen federation, to no longer be necessary as his cause would be continued by other parties.

In his address, he also endorsed the merger between the Darparian Fascist Party and New Falleentium Order which would go into effect in 588 -- just before the state election season. He stated that the NFO, and it's leader Erwin Bonhart, would unite the voices of the Darparian people for the betterment and the protection of the Falleen way of life and culture. DFP leader Greg Abbott confirmed the plan for a merger between his party and the NFO, and encouraged other state parties of the far-right to unite under a joint banner of nationalism.

Later on, he blasted Darparian Social Party (DSP) leader Lilian Marijnissen for betraying the people of the state by going into bed with known communists and radicals. The comments are based on the announcement by the DSP that a merger would occur between them and the state branch of the ULC, the United Socialist Workers Front (USWF).

This means that the number of registered parties for the upcoming 588AER elections falls to 6, with the contestants being:

- National Conservative Appeal (NCA)
- Democratic Unionist Party (DUP)
- Union of Moderates & Independents (UMI)
- Democratic Alliance (DA)
- New Falleentium Order (NFO)
- United Socialist Workers Front (USWF)
